REDLANDS – On October 22, Senator Mike Morrell (R-Rancho Cucamonga) will host the 5th Annual Top Chamber Business Awards at the Orton Center on the University of Redlands campus. The annual event highlights the work of businesses from across the 23rd Senate District in collaboration with local chambers of commerce.
“I am proud to again partner with our chambers of commerce to recognize businesses for their dedication to our region,” said Morrell. “Having been selected by peers who know their work best, these businesses are of the highest caliber and models for the community. It is a privilege to acknowledge them and the impact they are having.”
The Top Chamber Business Awards program was started in 2011 to showcase businesses in the Inland Empire that have contributed to the local economy and shown a dedication to the communities they serve. It is also an opportunity to network and discuss what it will take for California to rebuild its image as a friendly place for entrepreneurs to invest and create jobs, which could include potential ideas for legislation.
Businesses are selected for this honor by local chambers of commerce which submit up to three names to be recognized at the awards luncheon. Additionally, each chamber picks one of these nominated businesses to be recognized as a Top Chamber Business for 2015. These announcements are revealed the day of the event.
